An update on FluentPet Connect, a pet-centred approach to citizen data collection.

Ben is VP of Software Engineering and Data Science at FluentPet and holds a Ph.D in Cognitive Science, in addition to over 20 years of industry leadership across engineering and data science. Ben has expertise and publications within neuroscience (in left/right hemisphere differences across species) and philanthropy (in how and why people give). He joined FluentPet to lead software and data science for the launch of the FluentPet Connect, an app-integrated button system that logs user inputs automatically from the FluentPet 'button’ interface.

FluentPet was a popular part of the 2021 Interspecies Conversations Conference. This will be Ben’s first talk within the Interspecies Internet community and will provide an update on the FluentPet roadmap from a dedicated perspective on the data being collected via FluentPet Connect and the ongoing analysis Ben’s team is undertaking.
